Now available for purchase

The Soundcore Space One is now available to buy at Amazon and the Soundcore online store, and it will probably show up at other stores in the near future.

You don't need to spend a fortune on noise-canceling headphones. Anker just launched the Soundcore Space One headphones, which cost just $100 but offer enhanced ANC, a maximum 55-hour battery life, and Hi-Res Audio certification through the LDAC codec. Soundcore Space One may not match the power of AirPods Max or the Bose QuietComfort 45, but it's certainly an interesting and affordable alternative.

According to Anker, the Space One headphones achieve a "balanced sound profile" through a 40mm dynamic driver design. You can can customize the audio experience using multi-band EQ or the HearID function (which gives you a hearing test and adjusts the sound accordingly). There's also support for the LDAC codec, which ensures maximum sound quality while in Bluetooth mode. These headphones boast both Hi-Res Wired and Wireless certifications, which are usually reserved for more expensive products.

Noise cancelation is a defining feature of these headphones. Anker is making some bold claims in this area — when compared to the popular Soundcore Life Q30 headphones, the Soundcore Space One is supposedly two times more effective at reducing background voices. This claim is yet to be tested by reviewers, but at the very least, it shows that Soundcore has improved its ANC technology (which, in my experience, was already fairly effective). Soundcore Space One also offers a Transparency mode, of course, and it allows you to connect with two devices at a time through Multipoint Bluetooth.

Battery life for the headphones clocks in at 55 hours, or 40 hours with ANC enabled. And thanks to the headphones' quick-charge capabilities, five minutes of charging can yield up to four hours of listening time. Note that features like ANC will still consume battery life when using the 3.5mm port for wired listening.

The Soundcore Space One headphones are available in North America on August 28th. Customers in the U.S. pay $100, while Canadians pay $130. If you sign up for Anker's early-bird offer before August 28th, you'll get a free Soundcore tote bag (Anker calls it a $19 value) with your purchase of the headphones. Note that the early-bird offer is only for U.S. customers.
